Voice of my Intuition
... and it gets odder.

After reading some of the Jewish posts, Punk begins reflecting on what it's like for him to be a Jew. Then his mind suddenly drifts to the memory of a conversation he had a few hours ago with someone about the spelling of Ursula LeGuin's last name. The person discussing this with Punk speaks espanol, so Punk explains to him that the "le" is probably like the "el" in espanol.

... needless to say, Punk is reading this thread and lo! Everybody's talking about jewels.

Jew + el = Jewel

Is Punk experiencing major synchronicity or what?

Punk then has a funny sensation that he is receiving a secret message from God which needs to be scrambled and reassembled, Eventually he arrives at this combination:

l w e j e

Punk realizes that this is a phonetic approximation of the following word:

Luigi

Luigi (actually "Luigi's") is the name of an Italian restaurant situated on the west side of town. Punk has always wanted to try the Chicken Parmesan at Luigi's but has been too lazy to make the drive. Now Punk will make the trek thanks to God sending him a message.

Punk, with way too much time on his hands, begins to speculate as to why God would send him to such a restaurant.

As best as Punk can figure it, the scenario will probably play out accordingly:

Punk will order Chicken Parmesan
As he eats the chicken, he will begin to assimilate the flesh into his own body.
The chicken, being a less evolved expression of the self, will mingle with the more evolved Punk Yogi.
As a result of such fusion, the chicken will reincarnate in its next life as a human being.
That person will have memories of being a chicken in another life.
Because of such spiritual knowledge, the chicken-man will be known far and wide as a wise man and this will lead to people revering him as a guru.
Once this chicken-man-guru has a lot of disciples he will teach the wisdom of egg worship.
There will be a quality of punkiness in his presentation which will afford him loads of charisma.
When people begin to worship eggs, the dairy industry will be overrun with orders.
This will stimulate the economy and create jobs.
With egg worship, the people of the world will finally come to appreciate the fragility and fertility of all life.
With the economy having been jump started by the egg boom, people will begin to live in relative comfort and no longer feel the need to perpetrate crimes.
Down the line, this will cause the world to enter into a lasting period of peace, prosperity, and world brother/sisterhood.

Thus will the scriptures be fulfilled that a son in the house of Judea will be a savior unto all the world.

It is good to point out that when one is looking for synchronicities, they can simply get caught up in the labyrinth of thought as illustrated here. I guess that's pretty darn appropriate for a LaRouche thread.

Serenity wrote: "I have and continue to wrestle with getting my intuition radar to work properly for I fear picking the wrong road...and yet I know that it is my very fear which will make me unable to see the sign that I need to."

Exactly. Intuition is very hard to rely on whenever we have an emotional attachment to a particular road. As an example, YellowBeard wanted to save the world by selling LSD (along with providing a free instruction pamphlet on how to use it in a safe manner and for therapeutic and spiritual insight). But he wasn't sure if that was the right path for him. He looked inside and his intuition told him that it would be a better idea to work with entheogenic plants instead. YellowBeard was able to find out so much about himself through the use of LSD that it took him quite awhile to get over this emotional attachment to LSD and to move on to simply working with plants. So working with intuition during these early stages on the path is difficult. Our emotions will color or completely cloud the direction that is right for us.

> "I had to laugh when you changed the bed to a chair, yes, we don't want to start the sex thread up again, lol!"

Yeah, especially with the winking eye after the statement. I took a look at that and thought, "uh-oh, this looks bad". Yellowbeard is a bit of a hermit and enjoys his cozy, happy bed. He often speaks of it fondly. Sometimes he forgets the other purposes people associate with it.

> "I'd value any advice you (and others!) have as to how to clear the voice of my intuition."

One trick that's been helpful for me is to closely examine all the issues and to ask myself why I would want to (or not want to) go down a particular road. You might find it helpful to write this all out on paper or on your computer. Let every voice in yourself have a say on the issue. This can help you to see what emotional attachments you may have.

Also, you need to find out what direction you want to take your life in. There's no right answer here. Do you want to become a Truth seeker? Or do you not want to go to that extreme and simply apply spirituality into your life to improve the quality of it? If you want to become a Truth seeker, you may want to ask why you want too. Therapeutic analysis here is our friend.

I can't really speak on the householder life. YellowBeard does live in a house in a big city, but he lives in a hermit type fashion. So on householder type issues, it's probably best to see what some of the others here have to say, but ultimately to value what you find within yourself as the most important answer.

Yellowbeard's generic advice (which is going to get me into trouble, but that hasn't stopped me yet, hehe) is not to get married. If one is already married and thinking of a divorce, go with the divorce and do not remarry. If there are young children involved, it may be best to stay married until they get older. Although if the environment is truly unhealthy, we should go with the lesser of two evils. Let your former partner have the kids if they're not a bad parent (don't try for custody just to be vindictive). If you're thinking of having a child, don't. If you already have children, don't have anymore.

The basic theme here is on attachment. Anything that leads to further attachment should be avoided, and any chances for freedom should be sought. We look to attachments to fill the voids in our life. What I'm saying may sound like some terrible advice, but if you find yourself with a child in each arm, they won't be the only ones crying. :(

I'm sure this sounds harsh, but all I can do is speak from my perspective. Hopefully some others will have some advice. And once again, it's your advice that matters most. That's your beacon of light.

Elephantitis
And round and round the elephant we go. To some it must seem like I'm looking up the elephant's butt, and that is the way I think of some other postings here:lol , but at least we are all turned toward the elephant (seekers), and someone once said, "If I can agree with a person 65% of the time, then I consider that a working relationship."

Punk's body has been taken over by Lyndon LaRouche. He is now a pod-person...very sad. ;-)

By the way LaRouuu...uh, I mean Punk. What's your insight into the NP personality type? I think you mentiond something about this earlier on.

What's an NP?

Grieve not for that which you cannot understand ;-P

... Here's something you might be able to understand ;;-)

I'm setting up a new thread just for you. The NT (not NP) stands for iNtuitive Thinking. "Intutive" is to be equated to abstract rather than concrete or sensate thinking in this case.

See you on the other thread

Re: More grist for the conspiracy mill
Apparently the article titled "Bush's Faustian Deal With the Taliban" (www.robertscheer.com/1_na...052201.htm) that I posted earlier is in fact a fairly significant distortion of the actual events. See

www.bostonphoenix.com/bos...839506.htm

I hope I didn't add more fervor to the conspiratorial madness.

The Temptation of Authority
I know this thread has been more than played out, but this is something worth noting for the readers. Let me quote YellowBeard and point out his error.

> "Synchronicities become noticeable as you get closer to the Truth." (Yellowbeard,12/8/03)

Yellowbeard is subtly suggesting something here that some readers may have missed. It's not being said directly, but he's leading the reader to believe that he is emitting Light from within himself and that he is the Truth that the reader is getting closer to. The fact of the matter is, YellowBeard does not have any more Truth in him than any other reader here.

The reader can never get closer to the Truth, for the Truth is always within them. Do not seek what is already within yourself. This is self-delusion.

YellowBeard was being opportunistic here. The temptation of authority will destroy you and those who chose to follow. The illusion of control over a situation which was not under YellowBeard's control was laid out here (even though it was subtle, that's all it takes to create great destruction). The ego is like a gravitational field around oneself; it can distort that which comes from you, just as the subtle teachings on Truth have been distorted here in this YellowBeard quote above.

Young Walrusite cult busters ... be ever watchful. There are many tricksters out there. They will try to take your Truth and turn it into their's.
