Hello All,

Help

In the last two months someone posted particularly 'bout the Book of Thomas, once in the new testament
...this was mentioned in connection with other authors who knew Jesus
and how their writing were banned, burned, and barely saved for posterity

please help me find this post so Xnun may be referred to it

A good intro is Elaine Pagel's The Gnostic Gospels. Her recent work, focusing on Thomas, has been discussed here a bit, it's called Beyond Belief. A web search on "Gnostic Gospel" or "Nag Hammadi" will likely turn up an abundance of info.
