KRIYA TEACHERS AND KRIYA PATHS - Lahiri lineage
I want to start a thread that will trace all current kriya yoga teachers to their teachers and tracking back to Lahiri. I want to include contact names and phone numbers for these teachers. Please contribute what you know.

Probably the best place to start would be that chart in one of the Sansrit classics books. I'm not sure I still have that book. Can anyone help me with this. (I am available by e-mail - just click on username to send me a message)

I am starting a separate thread for teachers/kriya paths that are springing from Yogananda - there seems to be a lot of information on this site about these teachers.

I am started a separate thread for teachers/kriya paths that are springing from Yogananda's guru.

Well, then this thread should sure help Amrita with the new book it wants to publish. Maybe you can call her up and see if she wants to give us all the information she has gathered so that we can post it on the internet and give it away for free.

KRIYA TEACHERS AND KRIYA PATHS - Sanyal Lineage
Shri Bhupendranath Sanyal (1877 - 1962) was a direct disciple of Sri Sri Lahiri Mahasay.
Some of the Kriya lines emerging from him are :

1) His two sons Sri Girijapati and Kashipati Sanyal give kriya at Gurudham ashram , Puri . I am not aware of the exact address, so if anyone has idea about that please feel free to add it here .

2) Jwala prasad Tiwari (now passed on) was one of his advanced disciples . Some of the lines emerging from him are :

--Shrimati.Chandrakanta Agarwala , who I think is a direct disciple of Sanyal mahasay and later took guidance from Tiwari maharaj. she has translated the Sanyal gita into english , check www.vedamsbooks.com/no21616.htm

Shmt. Chandrakanta Agarwala
207-A , Rash Behari Avenue
Calcutta 700019

-- Padmakant thakur is also a disciple of Tiwari maharaj .
His address is :-
Shyamacharan sangh
Guru ashraya
231/B Patliputra Colony
Patna 800013

-- Dr Indranath Chakraborty was advanced disciple of sri Tiwari maharj. He passed away about a year back, I don't know if he has authorized anyone to give kriya.
I have his address , but won't put it here.

3) Sunil Kumar Ghosh is considered to be one of his advanced disciples . I don't know his exact address , but he lives in calcutta . He has written a book

A Life Divine, a Short Life-Sketch: Divine Activities and Messages of Yogacharya Sri Sri Bhupendranath Sanyal Ma. Calcutta, India

We could try to track him, if we obtain a copy of this book

When Swami Hariharananda passed on the issue of lineages got me interested. The Sanskrit classic book with the chart is "Kriya Finding the True Path" it was written by Swami Satyeswarananda Giri.

Re: KRIYA TEACHERS AND KRIYA PATHS - Babji lineage
I have since passed on to others my books by Swami Satyeshwarananda. However, it was my understanding that he is only a chela of Sri Yukteshwar's chief monastic disciple. Yes, Satyeshwarananda does claim direct initiation by Babaji. So that inforamtion would be correct. If anyone has the book about Lahari Maysaya it contains that fact.
