Lake Shrine Dedication
I've seen several brief transcriptions on the Walrus, of portions of the Lake Shrine Dedication in which PY expressed his enthusiasm for "World Brotherhood Colonies." These transcriptions came from an Ananda cassette, "Stories to Remember," which is no longer available, since the end of the lawsuit.

Recently on this board (and I didn't note where), I saw another statement attributed to Master at the Lake Shrine talk, in which he said (paraphrase), "I didn't come here to start a new church or a sect - I have no interest in such things."

My question is, to anyone who has heard this cassette, or has it, if that statement is indeed on there. Can you quote it exactly? If that's what he actually said, less than a year before he left - "I didn't come here to start a church" - well, when I read that, I just had to get up and take a little walk (and when I got back, forgot to bookmark it). Might give an inkling on how he feels about THE CHURCH that's been started in his name.

Re: Lake Shrine Dedication
"I am not starting a church or another new cult--I don't believe in it." -- Paramhansa Yogananda in "Stories to Remember" tape.
