Kriya Teachings
My wish about Kriya is that some of the Indian disciples from the Lahiri Mahashaya line who have a 'right' to do so would make kriya available on the net.
As a friend of mine who gave me the idea said: it shoudl be Out there for everyone who is thirsty, like the air, like water, like energy, like a common resorce available to all God's children.

Think about it... all the glamor, control, the regalia of being invested with the sacred duty to preserve the teaching pure, etc. (Yogananda said the techniques defend themselves ). What would distinguish SRF from other organizations like Ananda, etc.? Only their behavior, how they live the teachings, how they bring on the traditions Master left them. How they honor every soul.

Unfortuantely Daya Mata's idea for the organization is this: the same structure of the Vatican (hierarchy and control) and the business acumen of the Mormon church. She stated this in some lectures to the monastics.

Let Kriya only detractor be people unwillingness to practice it, let's take it away from people who are misusing Yogananda's goodwill and God sent gift!

Difference
I understand that Bro. Vishwananda once said that the only thing that will separate SRF from other religious organizations using Master's words (once the copywrites for all the books expire) is the character of those involved with SRF. The true character of those leading SRF will be the defining element distinguishes SRF from other groups.

I’m afraid that may be true. I bet at the time he didn’t realize the lack of character in those leading SRF. I wonder how he rationalizes it now that he knows.

And he does now know. What mental gymnastics he must be performing.

Another path on the path
Well, again and again we come back to the conclusion that SRF, in Master's mind, has to be a network of kriyabans who are scattered throughout the world, not necessarily tied by church affilations.

The Matas may be justified in creating a church patterned after the Vatican and Mormon Church . I would argue that 80% of the population are more concrete in their thinking and need an organizational structure to give them a sense of spiritual security. Only 20% are evolved enough to think outside the box. Those of us who are thinking outside the box comprise that 20%. (This is supported by research. Check out keirsey.com/)

When I discuss our problems with the 80 percentile group of devotees, they look at me as if I'm crazy. Remember, most people thought the world was flat in the 1492. Galileo was excommunicated from the Catholic church for announcing that the earth revolved around the sun.

Based on all these observations, I'd have to conclude that my main worry is not whether SRF will continue to degrade itself into a spiritual pre-school (the Matas will make sure it does) but whether there will be any place in it for us -- the ones who need to seek God intelligently and authentically.

I'm afraid there is no place for us in SRF. But don't fret. Master was probably one of us too, and there doesn't seem to be a place for him in SRF either!!

SRF is like a Noah's ark that leaves certain animals behind. Call it irresponsible or maybe just a lack of insight into human nature. It's just one more thing that makes me suspect the present leaders of SRF have no realization. Of course Master said there are many demi-gods on the way to the ultimate one. Perhaps they've found one-sided oneness with a demi-god who rules the loka for organizations and baby spirituality. I wonder...???

Those of us who cannot fit into the confining and repressive structure of SRF must go on practicing Kriya and looking for like-minded people. They're everywhere. Look for them and turn them on to the techniques, not the church. We don't need this church anymore. Perhaps one day the kriya techniques will be spread minus the intemediary SRF Vatican. It's already beginning and nececessary for those who want God but wouldn't touch the SRF Vatican with a 10 foot pole. The Matas have to realize that not everyone can wear the same sized pants. It is an obvious truth that people with "realization" ought to know.
