Statistics on Board Usage
The SRF Walrus is now averaging 250 visits a day. Those of you who stop by and add to the discussion should know that evidentially quite a few people are reading what you have to say. Those of you just stopping by to read, come on in and join the discussion. All opinions are welcome as long as they are serious and sincere. Your names and identities are kept strictly confidential. If you have that much interest in what is said, you must have some thoughts yourself.

We are also working on removing all the advertising from the board, so each “visit” should be more pleasant.

Re: Fight the battle!
I agree. Much gratitude and blessings to you and those participating in these beginning dialogues. Especially those voices seeking light on Master's ongoing and unfinished work. We are his instruments. These modern day priestesses incorrectly insist we reach God through their interpretation and memories of Master.
Truth can, will and must withstand any challenges. Truth will set you free.
We are not the real threat; the real threat is the Board's hypocricy; they do not adhere to the basic Yamas and Niyamas in their dealings with others in and outside SRF, they are not being honest, they are hurting people. Aren't people more important than things? (Basic Love 101).
This is a necessarry battle against adharmic forces within and without Guruji's org. We will not let them restrict our individual soul relationship with our guru. Will we accept this challenge? "Fight the battle, Arjuna!."
Om, Guru

Excellent news
I see we are approaching the 2 000 hits fast. Good job whoever is in charge of this. Any ideas how we can help more to spread the news about the board?

You can post a link to this board on the SRF Mickey Mouse Club Board (www.yogananda.net) ... if you dare ... ;-)

(that board has many SRF members, but unfortunately they're all highly brainwashed and exhibit cult member syndrome)

re: "mickey mouse club"
"Recovering from SRF" what you say is very sad but probably very true. It is one very tight operation.

Since the feature has been added to allow everyone to see who else is looking at the board, you all can see that there is almost always someone connected. I have seen as many as 8 people at a time reading the board and while I have no idea who most of you are I do get email from some of you. I have received email from as far away as India and of course all over the country. This SRF Walrus sure has a large family.

We still have many more readers than people adding messages, but that is to be expected. Please note that no one has been arrested by SRF and since people are behaving themselves pretty well we don't expect it. :)

I was never sure if the "visits" number was really accurate, but after watching the board this last week I feel it is. That said, you will note the statistic at the end of this message showing over 71,000 visits since August. We now have 45 registered users too. We had no idea so many people had been touched by SRF in this way.

Walrus, can you give us any indication of what your email is telling you? How many are
you getting, and from where? Are the people who write supportive, shocked, confused,
pro Mother Center, angry? In sum, how is the Walrus playing in Peoria? Do others have
any indication of whether SRF members who find out about the Walrus are either
supportive or dismissive?

I don't get a lot of email, maybe 2-3 per week, sometimes more. Most of it is asking that something be corrected or deleted. I have only had one concerned email and it came from the person in India. I posted this email on this board. After my email response to them, the person wrote a nice email back and seemed to understand.

Mostly I get "thanks for the board" type email. I can also say that I have not known personally a single person who has emailed the Walrus address! This board has a much wider audience than we ever expected it to have.
