A Lawsuit to Stop the Brainwashing Into Monasticism
A friend of mine talked to an SRF member who recommended "Paul Maas (213) 386-7586. This lawyer seems to have some experience with Synagogues (may be the Rabies are also pumping monastic teachings to lay people, and therefore getting in troubles). Apparently this is the type of lawyer that can take cases in a contingency basis (important, because SRF will not be able to get that deal of course). I suggest a couple of things:

1) Think how the SRF monastic teachings have impacted negatively your own life. Has it affected your marriage or romantic relationships with too much emphasis in "saving those fluids?" Has it delayed your career ambitions, or even destroyed your ambitions with so much emphasis and programing that "desire is thy worst enemy?" , has it affected you spiritual life by promoting tension in your meditations due to wrong emphasis in regard to STRAIGHT posture? Has it affected your mental health by creating anxiety or depression with the countless "shoulds and musts, and ought to" etc). Did the teachings create physical diseases in you by promoting vegetarianism in an irresponsible manner (without giving any careful information about the transition period)? Did the teachings create any other type of pain in your life? All of the above issues are the result of promoting monastic teachings to people living in the world. They have brainwashed thousands or even millions into painful fragmentation (monastics call it renunciation (BS) and the path in the world is about integration)

If therapists, doctors, teachers, chiropractors and so on are accountable for the advise they give to their clients, it is about time that SRF and churches in general SHOULD also be accountable for what they teach and advise to their congregations. Why should they get away with so much ill advice? I'm not saying that the government should regulate churches, or that churches should be accountable to government agencies. It is much simpler: churches should be accountable in regard to the human beings they are targetting to influence. If they hurt people they should pay for it. Nor it has anything to do with separation of church and state. It is simply about accountability of organizations (churches in this case) in regard to individuals that can be abused and brain washed easily (because that is human nature).

2) If you find they have cause you pain, then talk to that lawyer and explore the situation. He may be able to put several people in contact, those of us that are in a similar situation, and put together a class law suit. (mind you that he is not aware of anything yet, I'm just passing information here for those who, like me, want to explore their rights.) I think that a class lawsuit is ten times more effective in a case like this where there is some subjectivity involved. That subjectivity can be overcome of course with the right lawyer and the right information, but size will matter here. So, do not try to suit alone, let us build momentum with this sacred mission. If we put limits to the monastics, they will finally make an effort to separate what in Master's teachings is for the monastics and what is for the man/woman living in the world. Otherwise, if none set limits, they will keep teaching monasticism and hurting the life of those "millions that will come" in the future. One more thing: keep those old lessons and SRF books in a safe place, they are the best proof that these teachings are monastic teachings.
