Church of All Religions?
Has this ever crossed any one else's mind? What happened to this phrase: Church of All Religions? I remember when I first joined SRF about 20 years ago that this ideal was very close to my heart. Now I never hear anything of it. Everything is "SRF". What happened?

Church of Its Own Religion
Official SRF policy in handling requests from Lessons students for Kriya initiation is to follow up on any indications that they attend services at another church and deny them Kriya if they persist in attending such services. Why? $$$. DM doesn't want their money going to some other church; she wants it coming to SRF. So much for Master's "Church of All Religions" and Lahiri Mahasaya's guidance that a Christian, a Moslem, a Jew could practice Kriya and still remain in their chosen path.

That is totally strange. I understand they review Lesson applications as well as the Kriya applications, not to mention letters and your counseling calls, for signs of not being loyal. Come on ladies. Get with the program. Read the dog gone teachings of Master's for heavens sake.

Huh?
I have had the first two kriya initiations. No one ever asked me about my religious affiliations.

If you check the Lessons application they like to know what other churches you have attended and what things you have read. Many books are flags for them and they question all kinds of things.

Other Churches
It all depends on how you answer certain questions on the Kriya applications. There is a section that asks about other spiritual practices, and certain answers are red flags that push their abusive "loyalty" buttons, threaten their need for more money, and cause them to follow up, either by letter or by phone.

Kriya as SRF church membership
I don't know if it is the money that makes them put that stipulation on receving Kriya from SRF -- i.e., that receiving Kriya is a declaration of one-pointed dedication to the SRF church. But it sure is a change from Lahiri Mahasaya's method!
Does anyone know when they started asking for loyalty to SRF church before one receives Kriya? Was it yet another reactionary move in response to the situation with Kriyananda?
