Okay, I don't know if this is an error per se, or you can call it something else. But I wonder where Yogananda got this business of saying that the chakras each correspond to a planet and that one kriya revolution around the chakras up and down the spine equals one year of evolution. Kriya Yoga appears to be nothing more than Tantric Yoga, which is practiced in certain parts of India, particularly in Bengal where yogananda came from. And yet i haven't been able to find anywhere in any of the different yoga traditions of India that it says anything about this evolution business. I've been able to find everything else Yogananda calls Kriya Yoga except that. Is this just more wishful thinking and mixing of astrology with yoga a la Sri Yukteswar?

These are two completely different topics: (1) one Kriya revolution is equal to one year of evolution and (2) each chakra corresponds to a planet.

Re: (1) The one-kriya-revolution teaching must come from Babaji.

Re: (2) Where does Yogananda correlate planets with charkras? I know the zodiac signs are said to be related to the chakras (It's in GOD TALKS WITH ARJUNA), but I don't recall reading anything about the correlation of planets and chakras. Please give a reference for this. Thanks!
