Forget helping SRF, lets help Astral7
Forget helping SRF, lets help Astral7. The Walrus should start helping SRF by helping one member at a time! As long as Astral7 is not closely associated with SRF she is probably fine. They will only betray and abuse her if they have the opportunity to do so.

Should we encourage her to become more closely involved? This would speed up her education and get her back on a path to God quicker. Or should we try and save her from that fate and hope she stays removed?

Fellow Walrusites, how did this play out for all of you? If you were like me I dove in head first and got seriously burned. I saw monastics, including Matas, do mean and angry things and saw all the behavior I see outlined in many stories here on this board. My first reaction was to doubt the whole thing. Many who went through it with me no longer even feel they believe in God much less Master. SRF is so disturbed that it leaves us with doubts about ourselves and all our spiritual ideals.

I finally pulled out of it only by keeping my eyes firmly on Master and recognizing that he and SRF are two completely different things. The line of Gurus did not come to earth to create SRF as their tool for salvation, SRF assumed that role. I was able to shed it.

For any of you who have survived the close encounter with SRF, how did you survive? Did you survive? What ideals and activities helped you? What advice can you give to Astral7 as she moves down the path?

Here is a message from a Walrusite named Chuckle that followed this path and appears to still be in progress:

Re: helping
Wouldn't it be neat if there was a perfect God-being and he came to earth and started an organization that will always be perfect and totally guided by God?

Then all we would have to do is blindly follow and obey. We wouldnt have to think, or make hard choices, or consider other information at all.

But that would be a false existence, a fairy tale.

How to help a person?

Per, Jesus I would have to remove the 2x4 from my eye before I could do that, and I havent yet, so I am not really qualified to help.

But I do think that dropping all the "fairy tale" beliefs about Divine Perfection is a good way to start, for a lot of people.

Christianity has turned into a fairy tale in many ways. We even have people who say you are going to hell if you dont believe every single word in the Bible is literal truth from God?

Those kind of control mechanism are starting to show up in SRF. It is quite obvious.

Anyway, I cant help anybody. But as a general point, I think it is good to drop the idea that some organization is guided by God, and you are not, so you should do what they said God said you should do.

Its the oldest control trick in the book.

Great idea 108! Help for A7. Good questions.

Actually, I feel a tiny bit out of place here on this board because, it seems to me, I've never got too drawn in by SRF as an Organization. I wanted to learn meditation and SRF MEDITATION GROUP on Sundays was the place I went. Then I read the AY and got this "desire" to have the Kryia techinque. Well, couldn't have that without the lessons.

But all the while, I hung with the SRF devotees who seemed okay. Only on the edge did I hear about folks who based on their "wisdom" were exercising control in the lives of others.

Plus, I had the good fortune of meeting a very upbeat devotee who bought AY by the case and passed out a copy to everyone having been in another metaphysical group for 20 years and just then found PY as a Guru. A healthy knowledge of Organizational politics there.

So welcome A7! It's our turn now, all of us here. A7...we love PY and he IS our guru. For myself, I don't say that because I'm repeating a " party line" or "strong feeling." Dear A7, like my teacher would say, "Something happened."

Please aspire to that my friend; hold your views. Wait and aspire for "SOMETHING" to happen. TRUTH NEEDS NO DEFENSE. TRUTH IS PEACE.

Master won't let YOU down.

Peace...and Love

Everyone learns about SRF the same way. They become more involved, either as monastics or employees, and the learn the truth. If you want a PhD in SRF the fastest way possible, enter monastic training as a nun at Mother Center. That is the quickest way to learn the truth. Only about a month or two will be needed.

This may be difficult because they now pretty heavily screen for people willing to have the "proper" attitude. You must be submissive and already have strong cult follower tendencies. Astral7 seems to have that. She may need to fake it more to some degree to actually pass their screening process but if she wants to prover her worth to Master she will do it.

A short cut might be to find and talk to an ex-SRF nun. They will all give you the same story. There are hundreds of them.

How about we lauch a campaign with the UN to get into SRF to talk to the monastics. Right now none of them can talk out of total fear fear fear. Just like in Iraq! We can get inside and get recent stories and publish them in the media.
