Being declared “untrustworthy"
Legal mumbo jumbo, lawsuits, weird stuff. I don’t know what to make of all the claims and counter claims but I am concerned about the character revealed in THE WAY these court cases are handled. To me it doesn’t take a lawyer to interpret behavior.

The following is taken from Ananda’s description of the trial proceedings. So keep in mind the source, but here is what they claim happened…
Quote:
The problem was, Ananda Mata's declaration about these four photographs was directly contradicted by her own testimony in an earlier deposition. Judge Garcia declared Ananda Mata untrustworthy as a witness, and for this, and other reasons, he ruled that SRF had no valid claim on the remaining four.

This is part of a discussion concerning the copyright lawsuits over some of the pictures of Master.

Again, I don’t care if the case is valid or copyrights valid. I do care if the above really happened. A judges declaration should be verifiable. Is there some third party source for these court proceedings? One of our directors being declared “untrustworthy” is telling. That should not happen.

I would like to hear from Bro. Vishwananda on this one.

Vishwananda?
You want to hear from Vishwananda? Mr. Party Line himself? The king of double-speak? Why would you want to do that, other than for sheer entertainment value, of course, which I suppose is what you meant.

Pushing Vish
Actually my goal in that message really was to ask him to comment on it, or at least think about it. Many of these management people had, at one time, a sincere desire to serve Master and the membership. They have been corrupted in small steps over time, taking the coward’s way out with the excuse that it is loyalty. Maya is an expert and found their weaknesses in a false sense of loyalty and adherence to vows. The concept of moral courage means making difficult choices. Obedience? Standing by while people are abused? Watching others lie to “protect” Master? Loyalty? If Earth were easy we would be assigned somewhere else!

My point was to once again make him confront these issues. Each time he has to rationalize some poor behavior it is hopefully difficult for him. I don’t see him as completely taken over by the dark side. I believe that inside he feels bad each time he has to do it. So eventually he makes a breakthrough, which will be good for SRF, or he is totally turned to the dark side.

Let’s push him, and all of them, to think about these things. That is the only way to improve things. We can’t change things effectively from out here. We can just provide the jolts that hopefully reach their conscience. Some of them are too far gone, but I have hope for Vishwananda.
